I had been managing back and shoulder pain most of my adult life. Nothing ever helped. For this reason

I was hesitant to try strength training, but on a recommendation from my chiropractor, I signed up for a 6

week program with Mike.

Mike listened to my concerns and devised a plan for me. His PT background made me feel comfortable

and proved invaluable to his approach as a fitness trainer. To my surprise, Mike encouraged movement

in the exact areas I felt pain and tightness. He got me started working with resistance bands and body

weight exercises, and then on to weight lifting--something I had never done before. After a few weeks, I

felt my body become more stable and grounded. My posture improved, my gait widened, and I felt

stronger doing everyday tasks. Best of all, I noticed a lessening of the pain and tightness in my back.

I have been working with Mike for 8 months now and can see how the small steps I took at the beginning

have become giant leaps. I am amazed at how far I have come and how much better I feel. I can't

overstate how transformative working with Mike has been for me both physically and mentally. Mike has

encouraged me along the way. He's a true professional, a good listener, and makes working out fun. He

continually tweaks my workout to achieve better results and keep me focused and challenged. I am

grateful for his guidance. At 58, I feel proud of how far I have come and look forward to the next step
